At the 21st Tasmanian Wine Show, held in January 2011, 438 wines from 86 exhibitors were judged. Pooley Wines entered 20 wines, of which 18 were awarded medals along with two trophies.
At the Awards Dinner held at Meadowbank Vineyard, Matthew Pooley was thrilled to accept the "Peoples Choice" award for his 2009 Family Reserve Pinot Noir, a wine he has grown and made himself from the original vines planted at Campania. When asked about his award, Matthew said “What an honour to win this award and a great credit to all the team involved in growing these vines. It is evident that vine maturity has contributed to this wonderful wine”.
