Pooley Butchers Hill Pinot Noir is from the Belmont vineyard, Richmond. This is the fourth vintage from this vineyard and is bright and lively.
Overlooking the Coal River Valley and historic Richmond Village, the vineyard is on the side of Butchers Hill, facing north to capture the sun all day. The soils are well drained dolomite with limestone underlayer. The Butchers Hill vines were planted in 2003 and have yielded good crops.
Enjoy this exciting Pinot Noir – it has a long life ahead.
