2008 Margaret Pooley Tribute Riesling

This is only the second vintage that we have made this very special wine because the vintage has to be exceptional.

Winemaking Notes

Made solely for cellaring. The grapes are hand picked from our vineyard at Campania in the Coal River Valley. The wine has slight mineral characters on the palate, derived from the terroir and old age vines.

Wine Characteristics

Colour	Light straw coloured
Nose	Intense citrus characters
Palate	A dry crisp wine, well structured showing excellent lime and lemon fruit up front, great mouth-feel and length.
The Grape	The oldest vines in the Cooinda Vale vineyard are hand picked and only top bunches selected to make the cut. Hand picking ensures optimum quality.
Alc/vol	12.0%
Cellaring	Drink now or with careful cellaring up to fifteen years for a great surprise.
Serve With	Seafood. Particularly good with oysters.
